The Philippine Football Federation has released the pricelist of game tickets for the Philippine Azkals fi rst-round World Cup qualifying game against Sri Lanka at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.
MANILA, Philippines Tickets will be available on June 3 with 8,000 general admission seats sold at P200 while the midsection seats at P300, according to PFF treasurer Bonnie Ladrido.
The 5,000 VIP seats will be divided into two sections and will be sold at P2,000 and P3,000, respectively. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketworld.
The match, set July 3, is the second of two-leg series with first leg slated in Colombo, Sri Lanka five days earlier.
The winner of the home-andaway series will meet Kuwait in the second round.
Tickets appear expensive because it is only the PFF which will shoulder the expenses for the refurbishment of the 77-yearold venue, sponsorship negotiations with San Miguel Corporation broke down.Prices reflect that PFF will be footing the bill for refurbishing the stadium after negotiations with sponsors failed to progress, said Ladrido, also the head of the local organizing committee for the tournament.
