Mumblings of discontent in
Singapore following the recent open trials that featured players from Australia, England and Romania among others. Many SLeague clubs were reportedly less than impressed with the quality on offer though it must be said that three days training and playing after long flights is hardly the best way to put yourself in the shop window.
Among those who failed to impress the critical eyes were former Arsenal scholars Oliver Nicholas and Rhema Obed.
A Singapore FA official was quoted as saying he was happy that the clubs weren't impressed and looks forward to seeing who they manage to find themselves!
