PHILIPPINE Football Federation (PFF) President Mariano Araneta wants a more affordable ticket price for the exhibition match between the Philippine Azkals and international football star David Beckham with the Los Angeles Galaxy.
�I�m hoping the organizers of this exhibition match would consider finding ways like promos to lessen the cost of the tickets for the sake of many local football fans,� Araneta told The Manila Times.
According to Ticketworld, tickets for the event will be sold at P5,000, P9,500, P10,500, and P12,500 each. Araneta believes that such a price range would be prohibitive to many Filipino football fans.
Besides the actual exhibition match, the organizers are also selling tickets for LA Galaxy�s practice sessions at P3,000 (grandstand seats) and P1,500 (bleachers) each.
LA Galaxy members will also hold a football clinic for children charging P14, 000 per head.
