Wednesday--June 20th, 2012

Today is Summer Solstice. The Longest Day. Starts on 19:07 EDT. This is the earliest calendar date of summer I can remember. Astronomical Calendar says until 1975 Solstice fell on ether June 22nd or 21st. Then only on June 21st. In 2012, it begins falling occasionally on June 20th.
