UMass Football team contributes $1,300 to Katrina Relief

This article from the Springfield Union gives an update on UMass Football prior to the Albany Game.

Note that the UMass Football team and Coach Brown with Mike Hodges (director of Football Operations and former Head Coach) contributed $1,300 towards Katrina relief.

UMass is getting healthier. Three Offensive players should be available for Albany.

On Defense: two linebackers who have seen limited play because of pre-season injuries should get more playing time

One sad note:

  • L.A. Love LB 6-0 245 had surgery thursday and his career is over at UMass. He already used a red shirt year on another knee injury.
