Tanjong Pagar's Dismal Season

With 10 games gone SLeague new boys Tanjong Pagar United have yet to light up the compeition. Indeed, the opposite is true; they have become the whipping boys of the league as a team combined of young players with the odd older head struggle to make any kind of impression beyond a team to boost your goal difference against.

A v Albirex Niigata 0-5
A v SAFFC 1-2
H v Woodlands Wellington 0-0
A v Tampines Rovers 1-4
H v Home United 0-6
A v Etoile 0-3
H v Young Lions 0-0
A v Geylang United 0-2
H v Balestier Khalsa 0-1
A v Gombak United 0-3

At what point does it become a humiliation? This is a concern because such regular thrashings can only have a negative effect on the team. Look at the Arsenal for a a parallel. They seem incapable of winning the big games because they have got used to croaking in them in the past. And losing is a difficult habit to shed.

Next up for this famous old club are three home games against Hougang United, Albirex Niigata and SAFFC.
