Azkals back in training for Long Teng Cup

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Azkals are back in training as they prepare for the upcoming Long Teng Cup in Taiwan.

The Azkals will face off against Hong Kong, Taipei and Macau in the 4-nation tournament.

Joining the Azkals in the competition is Angel Guirado, along with new Azkals Carli Martinez de Murga and brothers Matthew and Mark Hartmann.

On October 7, the Azkals will play against the Singaporean national team in a friendly game.

Stephan Schrock, Jerry Lucena, Dennis Cagara and Paul Mulders are expected to see action against the Singaporeans.

The Azkals will also play a friendly game against Nepal on October 11 at the Rizal Memorial field.

The tickets for the Azkals' game against Nepal will go on sale on October 1, according to Futbol.ph. Ticket prices range from P300 for bleachers seats to P3,000 for grandstand seats. -- With a report from Dyan Castillejo, ABS-CBN News
