The New York Times says Vladimir Ducasse has a strong showing in the Jets training camp.

Two UMass players (Tyler Holmes and Emil Igwenau) have been named to Phil Steele's CAA preseason All-League team. Josh Smauda, Julian Talley and John Griffin were named to the second team. The UMass athletic site has the story here.

Speaking of Tyler Holmes, his interception against Maine was voted one of UMass' top plays of the year.

Old Dominion's first CAA game will be at Delaware on September 24th.

Today is sixty-six days until UMass football starts. Wearing #66 for UMass this year will be Anthony Dima, a 6-7 271 pd RS FR OL transfer from Hofstra. Dima has four years of eligibility at UMass.
