Medvil reached the finals of the Acer U-23 Cup after beating Columbia FC, 1-0, on Raymond Paresa's strike in the 76th minute.
WT-FM won over KMMPC, 2-0, in the other match to arrange a date with Medvil.
Medvil and WT-FM are set to renew their rivalry when they go up against each other in one of semifinal matches of the Ebocci-Davao Premier League on March 27 at 2 p.m.
Playing in the other semis encounter set at 4 p.m. will be Columbia and Hooligans.
Meanwhile, four Palarong Pambansa gold medal performers will lead Davao City's title-defense in the Davao Region Athletic Association (Davraa) Meet football competition set in Tagum City on April 10 to 14.
Palaro champion coach Ramonito Carreon named Emar Learning School standouts Jomar Acedo and Francis Jay Abrasaldo, Ateneo de Davao University's Francis Patrick Lim and Danilo Lascua as his reliable veterans.
"Our team is doing good in training. We have more new players now since most of the Palaro players have graduated already. But the team's morale is high. The players are ready to compete," Lalas told Sun.Star Davao in the vernacular.
Carreon's Davraa team won the secondary boys championship in the 2010 Palaro held in Tarlac.
Davraa also won golds in secondary arnis, elementary girls tennis and taekwondo events in the national sportsfest last year.
