Beto Back In Big League

Sriwijaya's best days were when their striker, Keith Kayamba, was paired alongside a prolific strike partner, be it Christian Lenglolo or Claude Ngon Djan.

Without a reliable goal getter too much rested on the veteran and the team struggled to find any consistency despite boasting a fine, experienced squad.

That looks to change though for next season. With Kayamba becoming coach the team from Palembang are close to signing Brazilian striker Alberto Goncalves. The stocky, well built Beto impressed during his time with Persipura, helping them to win the ISL back in 2008/2009.
